Poem

My love wanted me to write a poem for him,
I said that I have never written a poem for anyone.
But because he means to me more than anyone,
I said, “Come darling, lemme write a beautiful poem for you”.
And thus, the fingers started onto the keys.
To you the love of my life
I know not when the small spark grew into a huge fire,
I know not when the shimmering light became the Sun’s ego.
I know not when I started thinking of you with the fall of my breath
I know not when the little droplets of water formed the mighty ocean.
By the time I realized my present, it was you all around….
And then he said, “Hey, forget it. Let’s just chat.”
But then, my fingers refused to stop because I wanted so direly to write for him.
Why did I not write before he asked for it? I regretted.
Anyways;
By the time I realized my present, it was you all around.
I knew no love other than my love for you.
I knew no thought other than your thought
And I knew no beat other than the beat that cries your name every passing second.
Oh, love! You know I have surrendered to you my own self.
You are the most beautiful part of my everyday story
You are the happiest moment in my day’s log.
Without a word you make me yearn for you so much,
Without a word you make me fall for you too deep.
And I know not how deep I am gonna fall for you, my love!
I know not if there is going to be any time I may reproach.
All I know is that you will last forever in my heart,
Because my life is no more mine to be claimed.
I am yours. And I am all yours!

Today

The air feels humid on my skin under the thick atmosphere like a thick blanketed steam from a boiling water. I feel like I am smelling sweat all over but it remind me of my sleepless nights planning a lesson for those innocent beings and a gush of satisfaction runs through my nerves.
I feel drained of my energy and reach at the verge of giving up, but then my eyes meet those souls unreached and touches those hearts untouched. I promise myself yet again-"For this one last time!", for the hundredth time.

Examinations!

Hell-time!!! :D
Long gone are those times when my brain could catch up a line so easy. Now, I have no more in me those same motivations, those crazy drives and the burning zeal to score high. I am done with examinations and the late night-"red-eyed" awakes! I am worn through time and so tired of scanning through zillions of words never seeming to end, I give up. I am withdrawing from this race of exams and I hope God will help me for this one last time.

A Riveted Recall

I ran down the whacky stairs, opened the creaky door and galloped down the narrow marshy path. I looked at my watch, it frowned a 7:55 am back to me. Oh no! I was late for my school. I have to cover 45 minutes' walk in 5. I tried to take a 10 millisecond pace faster but it all seemed like the pace unchanged. I tried for a run and hoped to run at the horses’ pace but I saw my legs entwined and as reluctant as the angry Ox off the field.
The path was wet and muddy, the grass across so proud and standing-wearing those last droplets of rain, ready to twinkle in the rising sun. A gust swept through me and I could smell the sweet happy sandalwood scent dancing the tune of the wind. It was such a sweet morning but hell I was late! I grumbled through my clenching teeth, "Why is it so unfair?"
Just then I happened to look down at my feet and I was dumbstruck. There was the goofy old slippers, staring back the most ridiculing smile. What’s happening to me?
I came to a complete halt. There was no way I could go to my school like this. I could feel my insides panic and my heart was throbbing with fear. I said, "All is well" and wished I could fool myself for once. With a jump, I woke up from my sleep and I was never more thankful. I looked at my watch and it waved back a 6 am early morning hello.
I whew out a breath of relief and prepared my careful start for the day. There was still one hour left when I was ready and went to wear on my shoes. I pulled out my most elegant from the collection and slipped it through. On the rack was the goofy old shoes, I looked at it and smiled back the smile full of pride. Then finally I was out for good.
The morning went through so well and I had completely forgotten about the dream. The bell rang for lunch and I could hear my stomach roar with hunger. I pulled out my tiffin and opened the box expecting the same kharang I supposed I filled in, but my jaw dropped low with despair when I saw a small note instead. I was overwhelmed with fury and literally led out a cry but then I realized that the note was from me. It read:
Dear me,
I know you are surprised and in shock right now, but it is me- actually you. I am here to tell you that life is not always fair, so stop complaining!
What is happening to me?
